Why Crossbridge Was Formed

Cate Recognized a Gap

  • Existing organizations were doing valuable work.
  • Churches wanted to help but often lacked a coordinated pathway.
  • People seeking support could encounter disconnected referrals and unclear next steps.
  • Future housing solutions required developers, funders, landowners, churches, and resident-support partners who were not yet connected.
  • The community did not simply need another organization attempting to do everything.
  • It needed someone to build the bridges between the people already called and equipped to contribute.
  • Crossbridge Communities was formed to help create those connections.

  • Prayer and spiritual encouragement may be offered through Crossbridge or participating faith partners.
  • No person will be required to participate in religious activity to receive assistance through partner services.
